THC: THC is a psychoactive ingredient, that gives Cannabis it’s euphoria or high. It binds the receptors in the brain.
CBD: CBD is Not psychoactive. It counteracts the psychoactive behavior of THC. CBD has a calming effect, unlike THC.
Recent studies evaluated cannabis’ capability to relieve a wide range of symptoms including nausea from chemotherapy, loss of appetite among HIV positive patients, multiple sclerosis cramps, depression, nervousness, sleep disorders, psychosis and Tourette’s syndrome. The strongest trials supported cannabinoids’ ability to relieve chronic pain, while the least reliable evidence involved things like nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy, sleep disturbances, and Tourette syndrome.
