Find Your Perfect Cannabis Experience

Given the recent surge in the popularity of cannabis, a lot of people are going to dispensaries in legal states for the first time. They are interested and curious about what types of cannabis are available in the market.

It’s benefiting everyone involved in the business. Consumers, business owners and employees, and folks invested in the cannabis industry are all experiencing a great surge in sales because of the demand for cannabis.

Some people use it for its medicinal effects, some for recreational. Folks living in states where recreational cannabis is legal to enjoy the high produced by the plant.

When Colorado and Washington voted for recreational cannabis in 2012, people sat up and took notice.

If you are one of these people, you are probably going into the dispensary and thinking “What cannabis is right for me?” Well, there are different types of cannabis products out there in the market from CBD oils and THC drinks to Delta 9 gummies

That is totally understandable. Here, you will learn about different ways to enjoy cannabis, as well as the differences in certain strains.

The Two Types of Cannabis

There are two different types of cannabis that, while producing similar effects to each other, have slightly different properties and produce different experiences.

These three types are called indicas, sativas, and hybrids. You’ll probably notice, that on the label for each strain in your local dispensary, it usually tells the type of cannabis right on the packaging.

So, just what is it exactly that separates Sativas and Indicas?

  • Indica cannabis strains tend to be sedating. Indica strains are perfect for relaxing or even enjoying right before bed. Indica users report a relaxed and stress-free feeling.
  • Sativa cannabis strains tend to be more uplifting. Sativa strains can be good for exercising, enjoying some social time with friends, or working on a personal project. Sativa users report feeling euphoric and carefree.
  • Hybrid cannabis strains come from the mixing of Indicas and Sativas. Hybrid strains exhibit many of the effects of both other types of strains, dependent upon their parent strains. They can be relaxing, yet uplifting. Hybrid users report a feeling of happiness and relaxation.

Knowing the difference between the two types of cannabis can be a big help in deciding what strain would be best for you.

If, for example, you wanted to watch a movie and hang out on the couch, an Indica would probably be best for you.

On the other hand, if you want to work on your latest musical masterpiece, a Sativa might be better suited for you.

The Different Ways of Enjoying Cannabis

Did you know there are several different ways to enjoy cannabis? From smoking and vaping to enjoying edibles, and more, there are plenty of ways for cannabis users to enjoy the plant.

Deciding which one is right for you is usually a matter of preference, but some cannabis users usually enjoy a mixture of these methods.

If you’re not a fan of smoking or vaping, for example, edibles, teas, or oils might be a better option.

The most popular way of enjoying cannabis is the traditional smoking method. Many shops offer wholesale and retail products for smokers to buy glass pipes, hookahs, vases, and more.

There are all sorts of different styles of these pieces, so match them to your personality!

In social settings, some people like rolling joints and passing them around with their friends. Joints are essentially cannabis cigarettes. Some folks just enjoy passing around a pipe.

Smoking isn’t always the favored method of intake for some people, but smokers love how fast it is to prepare and enjoy.

They also like the quick onset, with folks usually being able to feel some effects just a few minutes after their first puff.

Vaping is a great method for many people. People already vaping nicotine products may enjoy vaping cannabis, too.

Different types of cannabis vaporizers exist, some using cannabis oil and others called dry herb vaporizers that heat up bud.

Many people like the convenience that vaping affords them. Someone who lives in a shared or rented house where they might not be able to smoke inside could benefit from a vapor product.

People who just don’t like the harshness of smoke could also enjoy a vape.

There are all sorts of different products from many great companies. You can visit dispensaries in your area or look online to find great vapes from reputable brands.

Vaping devices like the Volcano Vaporizer are very popular options right now.

Edibles are another great way to enjoy cannabis. Whether you just don’t like smoking, or you’re a smoker and just want to enjoy an edible, they are always a great way to enjoy the cannabis plant.

You can buy or make cannabis edibles like brownies, cookies, cakes, and even candies.

The effects of edibles are roughly the same as those of smoking. The effects will take a bit longer to kick in due to the nature of ingestion, but the effects will also last a bit longer than smoking.

Edibles can be a great way to enjoy some time home alone and watching movies, listening to music, or watching your favorite television shows.

You can even make a cannabis-infused tea! What a great way to relax in front of the TV on your favorite chair or sofa for a while.

Before choosing a strain, think about what type of cannabis would be best for you.

You don’t have to rush it, and you don’t have to have a favorite right away.

Have you found your favorite strain? What is it, and how does it help you?
