Cannabis is becoming more mainstream these days, but not all want to toke or use a vaporizer.
For non-smokers, consuming it in the form of edibles is the way to go. Cannabis tea will allow you to get your dose of the miracle herb without the hazards of smoking.
It is also a great way of dosing for sufferers with conditions affecting the mouth or throat and respiratory disorders. And they get to experience the wonderful taste of this tea and enjoy the benefits too.
But a word of caution, wait two hours for your next serving.
Cannabis Tea Benefits
The THC compound in cannabis binds the pain receptors in our body’s central nervous system where they effectively block pain. While CBD provides a calming effect to help reduce anxiety.
The potent combination found in cannabis tea provides comfort and relief from the symptoms of ailments like cancer, arthritis, muscle pains, and other uncomfortable conditions.
Cannabis stands out as an effective analgesic for its pain-blocking ability without the negative side effects of the traditional medicine.
Cannabis has Anti-inflammatory Properties
Chronic inflammation is associated with very serious and deadly diseases that lower the quality of life and contribute to pain, disorder, and misery.
An inflammation is chronic when it happens over a long period leaving your body on constant alert. It is the culprit in cancer, diabetes, and heart disease to disorders like depression, asthma, and arthritis.
Medical cannabis has unique compounds called cannabinoids which engage cells in the immune system that help regulate inflammation.
CBD and THC cannabinoids trigger an anti-inflammatory response which leads to lower levels of inflammation.
Cannabis Tea May Help Prevent Cognitive Decline
Researches found that the THC in cannabis tea blocks a type of protein which plays an important role in Alzheimer’s diseases occurring in older patients.
The brain has endocannabinoids, these are cannabinoid receptors which are abundant in the body. It is involved in a diverse range of processes such as sleeping, eating, and brain activities.
The endocannabinoid system develops gradually from childhood to adolescence but deteriorates as we age.
This is one of the root causes why there are issues about memory loss and lapses, slow comprehension for the elderly.
Clinical tests reveal that supplementing the aging endocannabinoid system with cannabinoids lessen the damage to the brain as we age.
The THC in cannabis reversed the cognitive decline and increased memory retention when applied to old mice.
It is mice today and hopefully humans tomorrow.
Cannabis Tea Eases Symptoms of Nausea
Nausea is not pleasant, but it is a defense mechanism by the body to fight toxic substances.
It releases the invaders quickly through vomiting and the queasy feeling is short-lived. But when nausea is chronic it is associated with serious illnesses.
People suffering from cancer undergo chemotherapy and experiences nausea and vomiting on a regular basis.
THC in cannabis has shown to relieve nausea and fuels appetite without nausea, there will be no vomiting.
In fact, nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy is one of the most supported therapeutic uses of cannabis and a reason why the wonder herb was approved for its medicinal value.
Imagine having a sip of delicious cannabis tea, you can have the best of both worlds; reap the anti-nausea benefits and increase your appetite too.
